Wendy and Wyatt Fredrickson are a mother/ son writing duo that got started one night with a game of “What if?”  Wyatt’s incredible imagination and Wendy’s determination to show her son what he could do with his ideas blossomed into a whole new world of magic and animal transformations, which would ultimately become The Secrets of the Statue series.  Wyatt is a middle schooler who loves to read and play video games.  He is a kind and generous young man.  Wendy is a U.S. Navy veteran turned middle school science teacher.  They live together in Minnesota with Brandon, Wyatt’s dad, and two little sisters, Braya and Claire, along with way too many pets.
